Clint Eastwood Chrysler Super Bowl Commercial: It’s Halftime in America (Updated)

UPDATE: We originally filed this post in the ads section. In light of Mr Eastwood’s statement to Bill O’Reilly, (see below) where he confirms that this is not a political ad we moved it to the News Clips section.

This ad was aired during the Super Bowl and is supposed to be a commercial for Chrysler. The general consensus however is that this is obviously a call for an Obama second term. Being that it falls in line as being considered a political ad, we find it appropriate to post it on this site.

Michael Moore tweeted the following:

Karl Rove Responds to Super Bowl Chrysler Ad

The White House response to the ad:

UPDATED: Clint Eastwood sent Foxnews the following statement:

“I just want to say that the spin stops with you guys, and there is no spin in that ad. On that I am certain.

l am certainly not politically affiliated with Mr. Obama. It was meant to be a message just about about job growth and the spirit of America. I think all politicians will agree with it. I thought the spirit was OK.

I am not supporting any politician. Chrysler to their credit didn’t even have cars in the ad. Anything they gave me, went to charity. And if Obama or any other politician wants to run with the spirit of that ad, I say, go for it.”
